New Zealand
An American's perspective of traveling in New Zealand: 1. Nice people that go out of their way to help you. 2. All accommodations have towel warmers, bottles of milk in the refrigerator and plenty of tea and coffee (and they drink lots of both) and they have wonderful electric pots that instantly heat water. 3. There is no tipping or taxes in restaurants - the price you see is what you pay (you can tip a little for excellent service). Also, you usually pay at the register. 4. The worst TV in the world! 5. Hiking is tramping. 6. For domestic NZ flights there is no security. They don't even ask for an ID. 7. American coffee is "long black." 8. You must eat with a knife and a fork, one in each hand. 9. Like in Australia, say "goodday." 10. And, of course, they drive on the right side of the road, which is the left side!
